Priorities and Time Management

Course Overview

Effective time management and setting priorities is essential to both sales managers and salespeople. This curriculum incorporates a Time Mastery Profile assessment as well as forms, tools and foundational principles to help participants know where to spend their time.

Course Goal
The goal of this program is to help sales managers and salespeople increase business by knowing where and how to focus their time and attention.

Course Objectives

As a result of this program, you will have the tools to:

  • Develop the right attitude toward controlling your time.
  • Know how to use the time available and ignore nonessentials.
  • Understand the importance of having sales and personal goals.
  • Create smart sales goals.
  • Determine the right activities to reach sales goals.
  • Prioritize your time to maintain balance.
  • Master the habit of planning.
  • Schedule when to do what you planned.
  • Avoid procrastination which can impede sales success.

Follow-up Program

To ensure the principles and tools of Priorities and Time Management are implemented and new behaviors become habit, it is important to have a follow-up program.

  • Regularly scheduled coaching sessions to reinforce, evaluate and enhance application of the course information.
  • Each participant will complete a time management self assessment, which sales managers can use to coach individual performance. This assessment makes the coaching more effective and targeted.
  • Audio CD refresher and reminder of key content.
